Beauties and stories of the Gorenjska (Upper Carniola) region in Slovenia are surrounding me my entire life. Family trips and exploring Slovenia in detail are something I grew up with. Knowing its history, folk tales and customs as well as its rich cultural heritage makes Gorenjska not only a stunning piece of nature, but also a place full of memorable stories. A native of Tržič, now living in Bled, with a degree in translation for Slovenian, English and French and a qualified regional tourist guide, I will gladly share these stories with you.
